About Run The Date

Run The Date is a simple dashboard that connects to your Strava account and tracks whether you've "run the date" each day of the year.

What does "running the date" mean?

Running the date means you need to run at least the month followed by the day in miles each day. For example:

  • January 1st = 1.01 miles (month 1, day 1)
  • January 2nd = 1.02 miles (month 1, day 2)
  • February 15th = 2.15 miles (month 2, day 15)
  • December 31st = 12.31 miles (month 12, day 31)

You can run multiple times in a day - all your runs on that date are added together to meet the requirement.

How it works
  1. Connect your Strava account
  2. The app pulls your running workouts from the current year
  3. For each day, it checks if your total miles meet or exceed the required distance
  4. View your progress on the dashboard with a calendar showing which days you passed (✓) or failed (✗)
Why use Run The Date?

It's a fun and motivating way to track your running progress throughout the year. The challenge encourages consistency and helps you build a daily running habit. Watch your success rate grow as you maintain your streak!
